I am by no means an "expert" gardener! However, I have been successful in past growing vegetables with the Square Foot Gardening Method created by Mel Bartholomew. This method is what I will be using again this year with the addition of starting most of my plants from seed--yeah! and Heirloom, too. I've never grown heirloom plants before, so I hope to have some success.
Today, I just transplanted herbs into a larger container, but have decided to keep them still in my little greenhouse. I have hyssop, sweet basil, Italian parsley, curly parsley, lots of cilantro, savory, chives, and fennel and dill in a separate container.
I know I'm being ambitious... starting many herbs from seed, but I figure one must start sometime!
The most exciting gardening information I've come across is a new method called "keyhole gardening"--I don't know much yet, but I'll get as much up as I can real soon!
And photos too!
